DangerousTech is a Berlin-based digital space for new media storytelling, reporting on and advocating for tech for social good.
Disruption is everywhere. This is a time of great opportunity. We want to make sure technology is applied to solve social challenges rather than exacerbate them or even create new ones. We are the voice of an impassioned generation of digital natives, and we use emerging media to engage audiences and explore the complex interplay between tech and society.
We create content in a range of media, including short VDO, VR, blog-style articles as well as longform writing. We’re also building a strong on-the-ground community in Berlin, through regular interactive events that highlight the work of pioneers and entrepreneurs from the local social-tech space. DangerousTech takes a solutions-based approach to storytelling, drawing attention to positive stories without sugarcoating, and addressing complexity with clarity and practical insight. We are neither tech evangelists nor neophobes; instead, we believe that balance, insight and inspiration can bring about meaningful action—and that such attributes are all but absent from the current tech media landscape.
